Scottish ministers issue £43.3m tender for temporary IT staff for public sector
Framework agreement available for use by health bodies, academic institutions, fire and police services, councils and more
Scottish ministers have issued a tender for the provision of IT staff for public sector organisations in Scotland.
It said that, as well as those organisations listed in the tender, the framework agreement will be available to charities entered on the Scottish charity register and voluntary organisations entered on the membership database for the Scottish council for voluntary organisations.
The three-year contract is covered by the Government Procurement Agreement (GPA), and its estimated value excluding VAT is £43.3m. There will be an option to extend the framework by an additional year, the tender states.
Scottish ministers are purchasing on behalf of other contracting authorities including: Transport Scotland, National Museums of Scotland, NHS 24, Central Scotland Fire and Rescue Service, The State Hospital for Scotland, Glasgow Metropolitan College, Audit Scotland and the University of Edinburgh.
