How can you attract talent to the cyber security profession?

In part two of Computing's interview with Labour MP Chi Onwurah, she explains how talent can be attracted into the security profession

Over the past year, Computing has spoken to experts within the IT industry who believe that the UK has an IT security skills gap.

Research has supported these claims, with research and consulting firm Frost & Sullivan finding that the number of security professionals globally is about 2.25 million and the requirement by 2015 is 4.25 million.

But questions have been raised about how best to fill the skills gap and whether or not there are enough routes into the cyber security profession.

In this video, Labour MP and Shadow Minister of the Cabinet Office, Chi Onwurah, explains ways in which talent could be attracted into the cyber security profession.
