A shrunk down version of the HTC One that is still big on features

The HTC One arrived in the UK earlier this year hoping to break Samsung and Apple's stranglehold on the region's smartphone market. Armed with a beautifully designed aluminium chassis as well as a host of custom features and technologies, including BlinkFeed and Ultrapixels, the phone proved a hit with users and remains one of the most popular HTC devices ever mad.

Clearly aware of this HTC has taken a page out of Samsung's book and announced a follow up shrunk down version of the One. The One Mini aims to offer smartphone users all the core perks of its larger sibling but at a reduced cost and size.

In this endeavour HTC's worked hard to not cut too many corners, with the only real differences, outside of its size, a slightly less crisp 4.3in 720p display and dual, not quad-core, processor.
