Top picks of the week for V3 readers

This week's pick of the most popular V3 stories was topped by news of the latest version of Google's popular Chrome browser. Chrome 14 patched 32 vulnerabilities, Google paying over $14,000 to bug hunters in the process, and featured improved support for Apple's Mac OS X Lion platform.

Also popular this week was our head-to-head review of highly sought-after e-book readers the Amazon Kindle Wi-Fi and Sony Reader Wi-Fi, as well as V3's hands-on review of the Acer Aspire S3 Ultrabook.

V3 readers were also keen to find out the latest on our exclusive story about Trend Micro's latest discovery - an advanced persistent threat attack targeted at 1,500 computers in 61 countries.

Windows 8 news was also popular, specifically our analysis of the Build conference, and the news that Samsung tablets with the OS pre-loaded have been flogged on eBay by developers.

Apple as always crept in with an iPhone story, this time about the iPhone 5 launch date, while BT was in trouble again with the ASA, and the ICO investigated education secretary Michael Gove for email malpractice.
