TfL and GLA sign collaborative SaaS deal
Asite to provide a single integrated data management solution for all aspects of the contract administration process
Transport for London (TfL) and the Greater London Authority (GLA) have signed a five-year agreement with construction industry software specialist Asite for the use of its collaborative software-as-a-service (SaaS) technology.
Asite will provide TfL and the GLA with a single integrated data management solution for all aspects of the contract administration process across their portfolio of construction and facilities management works.
TfL, as well as its entire construction supply chain, will use Asite's contract administration applications to manage contract change and to provide real-time visibility of schedules and costs.
"We carried out a trial using this solution over the past 15 months in part of the London Underground, and during that time, it proved to be successful," said a TfL spokesman.
"So we decided to roll it out and start this contract, which should enable us to make savings across the business."
