Microsoft Tech Ed: Three day conference begins today

Event will kick off with keynote hosted by Robert Wahbe and Jason Zander

The 19th annual Microsoft Tech Ed conference kicks off today at the Georgia World Congress centre in Atlanta.

The conference will last for three days and provide developers and IT professionals with technical training across Microsoft's current and soon-to-be-released products.

The keynote, to take place today, will be hosted by corporate vice president, server and tools marketing, Robert Wahbe and corporate vice president, Visual Studio, Jason Zander.

The pair will showcase an array of Microsoft technology and the address will be webcast at 9:00 a.m. EDT (1.00 GMT).

The event will also see a moderated panel discussion with Mary Jo Foley, Amy Barzdukas and Betsy Speare called Developing a Strong Support Network: The Keynote to Being Successful as Woman in Technology.
