Clothing retailer invests in Ipswitch technology

Fashion retailer Monsoon has added new security and audit features for file transfers between its international offices.

The firm has picked Ipswitch File Transfer's MOVEit range of managed file transfer (MFT) technologies to replace its existing file transfer products.

The firm said that the new technology improves governance over file and data transfers with Monsoon's subsidiaries, partners and suppliers.

Another benefit was that the technology cleanly integrated with its existing systems, especially for secure banking transactions, according to Anish Shah, operation systems manager at Monsoon.

"MOVEit DMZ and MOVEit Central ticked all those boxes and provided us with an intuitive solution with the level of visibility we required," he said.

"[The solutions] were able to provide an extremely secure environment for all our data interactions, as well as a single web interface for setting up and managing the data flow around the system."

The firm is also using the technology to support Monsoon's e-commerce site.
