Two weeks left: Enter the IT Leaders 100 2026

The clock is ticking down to 1st May

Time is running out to enter the 2026 edition of the IT Leaders 100, the definitive list of IT changemakers in the UK.

With just two weeks to go, senior IT leaders across the UK have until 1st May to put themselves, or a colleague, forward for recognition.

The IT Leaders 100 is our annual release highlighting the most influential, innovative and inspiring names in UK technology.

While the majority of people on the list are technologists, the IT Leaders 100 ultimately focuses on delivery, judgement and leadership - not job titles or marketing claims. Thus, individuals pushing the boundaries of AI rub shoulders with those working to raise the profile of important industry initiatives like diversity.

Who the IT Leaders 100 is for

The list covers a wide range of roles, including CIOs, CTOs, IT directors, chief architects and senior IT managers. It spans all sectors, from the public sector to commercial industry, and organisations of all sizes.

Entries focus on what candidates have delivered over the past 12 months. That might include leading a major systems upgrade, improving security posture, managing legacy platforms or building and retaining skilled teams.

Vendors, consultancies and service providers are not eligible. The focus is on internal IT leadership and accountability.

How the entry process works

The IT Leaders 100 is free and straightforward to enter. Entrants answer a short set of questions about their role, achievements and approach to leadership. Computing’s editorial team reviews all submissions and produces the final list.

You can enter yourself or nominate a colleague whose work deserves wider recognition.

Enter before 1st May

If you believe your work, or a colleague’s, should be recognised, now is the time to act. The deadline to enter the IT Leaders 100 2026 is Friday 1st May.

Enter now, or nominate a colleague, via the official entry page.
