The worst Microsoft products of all time, and a USB stick security flaw

The big hit with V3.co.uk readers this week was our rundown of the worst Microsoft products of all time, but the software giant also made the top 10 with the news of a further 800 redundancies. Let's just hope that Microsoft read our article on its historic mistakes, and has got rid of the right 800 workers.

Security news was popular this week, particularly a serious USB stick flaw that could threaten sensitive information, and a new report from McAfee warning of a dramatic increase in threats.

Readers were also keen to hear of a Twitter-only mobile device, and the imminent arrival of the much-anticipated HTC HD2 handset.

There was potentially bad news for illegal file sharers, however, after the EU sanctioned a 'three strikes' rule that could mean web blackouts for persistent offenders. Also popular was an article by one of our US correspondents suggesting that the closure of The Pirate Bay could be the inspiration behind a series of attacks on government web sites.

And finally - readers were intrigued to hear of Google's plans for its Voice service, and to read our review of the brand new Apple iMac.
