Atos Origin outsources its finance and accounting services to ACS

IT services company outsources operations to cut costs and improve efficiency

A seven-year contract has been agreed

IT outsourcer ACS has announced a seven-year contract with Atos Origin for a full suite of finance and accounting services.

ACS will base the function from Lodz in Poland, and provide services to sites in France, the UK, Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg. The operation will be supported by 150 full-time Atos Origin employees.

It also plans to improve operational efficiency at Atos by implementing various Xerox services including CRM, compliance management and workflow.

Michel-Alain Proch, group chief financial officer of Atos Origin, said that by working with ACS Atos will be able to control costs and improve technology and workflow processes.

IT services company ACS was acquired by Xerox in February this year.
