Epicor launches iScala update
Business apps firm Epicor updates its iScala enterprise resource planning tools
Business applications vendor Epicor will today launch a major update of its iScala enterprise resource planning (ERP), customer and supply chain management software.
The iScala upgrade contains over 100 new features to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, enhance customer service levels and deliver localised support for firms with offices in India and South America, according to Epicor.
“Having a single ERP product that can be deployed worldwide reduces enterprise compliance costs,” said Epicor’s senior director of product marketing, Steve Humble. “Because every application must be audited, implementing just one in every office saves money.”
Most of the new features in iScala 2.3 are free for those with existing maintenance contracts, but the corporate governance pack costs an extra $250 per concurrent user.
