Dover improves customer service system

Council system will help residents find clearer answers to questions

Dover District Council is implementing a customer system to help answer questions from citizens.

Known as Right Now, the service works through the council's web site to personalise its responses to inquiries made by visitors.

The service also allows specific questions to be asked directly, with responses emailed out. A person can also be automatically updated if an original answer changes.

Councillor Julie Rook says Dover District Council recognises the importance of good customer services.

'This improvement shows our commitment to residents to bring up to date information to their fingertips and to help people play a part in the life of our community,' she said.
