Infoblox aims to secure IDs
New systems from Infoblox offers firms large scale network ID services
Large enterprises needing to secure and scale network identity services could be tempted by new systems from Infoblox.
The network identity vendor has introduced a high-end appliance, the Infoblox-2000, which it says can serve more than 75,000 domain name service (DNS) requests per second and 750 Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) leases per second.
Aimed at datacentres and large campus networks, version 4.1 of Infoblox’s network identity operating system includes
support for Generic Security Service Algorithm for Transaction Signature Authentication for DNS, Microsoft’s standard for allowing updates to be sent to the DNS server.
The Infoblox-2000 is available now, priced at about £30,000 + VAT.
