Dell plans to expand its European manufacturing capacity with a new site in Poland, employing 1,000
Dell is to build a manufacturing site in Lodz, Poland, scheduled to open in the autumn of next year. The €200m plan should help the PC giant meet growing demand in Central and Eastern Europe and the Nordics, with Dell promising “at least two days” faster deliveries.

Paul Bell, Dell Europe senior vice-president, said the Polish site would complement the existing Limerick, Ireland site.
