Clifford appointed as Micro Focus CEO

Industry veteran brings 30 years' worth of experience in the tech industry

Nigel Clifford to start as CEO on 1 May

UK-based software development company Micro Focus has appointed Nigel Clifford to the role of chief executive officer (CEO) at the firm.

Clifford will start in the role on 1 May.

He last worked as chief executive of Symbian Limited and prior to that was chief executive of Tertio Telecoms. He has been employed at the chief executive level for the past 16 years and has worked in the technology industry for the past 30.

The previous chief executive Stephen Kelly left in September 2009 for personal reasons.
