Scottish Ambulance Service looking for mobile data solution

Solution will be deployed across 625 ambulances in Scotland

Ambulances will be kitted out with equipment including a thermal printer

The Scottish Ambulance Service is looking to procure a mobile data solution for its Patient Transport Service (PTS).

The PTS is provided to transport patients who have a pre-arranged hospital or outpatient centre appointment.

The service is looking for a rugged PC solution that will travel inside the ambulance and be connected to a patient transport database.

The solution will be deployed across about 625 vehicles throughout Scotland. A minimum of five vendors will be invited to tender.

The Scottish Ambulance Service has not released payment terms but they will be contained in the terms and conditions of the contract.
