Acquisitions raise revenue but profits up onlyone per cent on last year

Sage profits are 1 per cent to £154m

Sage has reported annual sales up 24 per cent to £1.16bn thanks to five acquisitions and gains in service and license revenue.

Profits grew 1 per cent to £154m.

Shares rose 20.05 pence to 213.75 pence on the news.
