TFL serves contract notice for replacement ERP framework

Transport body seeks tenders for £70m replacement ERP framework

Tfl's ERP framework expires this autumn

Transport for London (TfL) has put out a tender to replace its enterprise resource planning (ERP) framework.

The new contract is valued at between £40m and £70m (excluding VAT), and will last for four years. It will include both SAP and non-SAP projects and software implementations/developments.

The contract notice is described as being for "IM Technology Frameworks". A spokesman for the company said: "The current TfL ERP platform frameworks are due to expire in the last quarter of 2010. This is why TfL has recently commenced the tendering process for a replacement framework."

The deadline for using TfL's eTendering process is 12 February 2010, with TfL looking for a minimum of 10 tenders before it starts the assessment process.
