Honeywell adds new mobile device to its roster
Honeywell Imaging and Mobility has launched a new handheld computer, the Dolphin 7600.
The firm said that its Dolphin Mobile Computer would let remote workers, or anyone else looking for mobility solutions to use voice, text, email and web services from any location. It added, in a statement that its use of GSM wireless technology and Microsoft's Windows Mobile 6 would "empower users with wide area networking (WAN) capability and improved tools for fast and secure mobile application use".
Other productivity tools included in the device are Integrated Adaptus Imaging Technology 5.0 - data collection tools that allow for barcode scanning, signature capture and digital photography, while a set of wireless technologies enable connections to a range of networks and devices.
