This is the last day for submitting entries to the biggest and most prestigious awards ceremony in UK IT.
All submissions for the UK IT Industry Awards, hosted by Computing and the BCS, must be received by 5pm on Friday 7 August – so get your entries in now as there will be no further extensions.
The new awards programme merges the longstanding Computing Awards for Excellence and the BCS IT Industry Awards to create a platform for the entire UK IT profession to showcase and celebrate best practice, innovation and excellence. The new awards will be the biggest and most sought-after in the IT calendar, combining the strengths of the two most successful awards schemes in the sector.
The awards focus on the contribution of individuals, teams, organisations and technologies that have excelled in the use, development and deployment of IT in the past 12 months.
The winners will be announced at the lavish prizegiving ceremony, to be held at the Battersea Park Events Arena in London on Thursday 12 November 2009.
