Ipswich Town Football Club, has selected Yosemite software to provide an improved backup strategy.
As the club’s network expanded by 600 per cent to over 130 users spread across five sites, the club needed a solution that could successfully cope with this growth and help maintain its ticket sales processes, online shop, and multimedia web site.
'TapeWare had until then met all our needs and we were looking for a solution that offered us the same features but for a broader range of requirements. Thanks to this our backup strategy is now worthy of the Premiership,' said Colin Hammond, IT manager for Ipswich Town Football Club.
Hamish Macarthur, CEO and co-founder of market research firm Macarthur Stroud International said: ''The backup needs of SMBs have been traditionally addressed by vendors with stripped-down versions of enterprise products that lacked the ease of use which is key for these smaller organisations.'
'Solutions like this, built from the ground up, are going to be very attractive to many organisations who need to protect their systems with a simple and easy-to-manage solution,' said Macarthur.
