Fluke launches NetFlow analysis software
Fluke Networks has updated the tools from its Crannog Software and Visual Networks acquisitions
Network performance management vendor Fluke Networks has released new versions of software acquired through its Crannog Software and Visual Networks acquisitions.
NetFlow Tracker, originally developed by Crannog, has been upgraded to version 3.0, while Visual Uptime Select moves to version 2.5. Both are available now.
NetFlow Tracker is a software tool used to capture and analyse Cisco's proprietary NetFlow protocol and IP Flow Information Export traffic data, in order to check client, server and application activity relationships.
Fluke said that Tracker 3.0 offers significant performance benefits and better reporting capabilities. Network administrators can now attach a virtual private network (VPN) routing and forwarding table (VRF) to each Tracker interface and allow the package to detect VPN changes and reconfigure itself automatically.
Visual Uptime helps firms with their network capacity planning requirements and is also designed to successfully deliver enterprise applications. Version 2.5 lets network admins monitor VoIP call quality on different network segments.
