The Northern Ireland Civil Service has tendered for maintenance of its data network infrastructure.

The notice appeared on the electronic tender website Ted, a supplement to the Official Journal of the European Union (OJEU) - but does not say how much the contract is worth.

Details of the hardware will be provided in the tender pack which can be received from the general address of the contracting authority.

The supplier is being asked to provide direct support for the maintenance of adequate resources in terms of personnel, skills and equipment (hardware and software) to meet the terms of the contract.

It will also be expected to provide indirect support in the form of bug fixes and expertise.

The contract was originally released in the OJEU on 29/01/2010.

No one was available at the headquarters to give reasons for the tender’s re-release.
