Lush signs network deal
Managed infrastructure will modernise credit control and improve customer services
Lush's network deal will help it manage the Christmas rush
Lush has signed a deal with Thus and Vodat to manage the cosmetics firm's network infrastructure.
A Multi-Protocol Label Switching (MPLS) network will be implemented across Lush’s 89 stores in the UK and Ireland to support the chain’s transition to internet credit control processing.
It will provide Payment Card Industry (PCI) compliance, which ensures the safety of customers' data for credit card payments made online or in a shop. And the faster data transfer will also reduce checkout queues, says Lush.
“We understand the impact technology can have on our day-to-day operations and welcome the efficiency benefits the new network infrastructure will provide, especially as we approach the Christmas season,” said retail systems manager Chris Risbey.
