Fashion chain completes IT overhaul
Mosaic finds integrated software fashionable
Mosaic Fashions is to implement point-of-sale and customer relationship management (CRM) software across its high street fashion shops to complete its IT transformation.
The parent company of Oasis, Coast, Karen Millen and Whistles has been overhauling its IT infrastructure to support expansion to a multi-chain retailer and boost sales.
CRM software will deliver customer data that can help management better understand customers and target them with relevant products and promotions.
The Mosaic group chose integrated software across its international chain of shops to simplify central management of data, improve visibility and provide access to critical information across all four brands in real time.
This will enable Mosaic to speed up its response to market trends, improve stock availability and service to customers.
Its software suite already includes sourcing, merchandising, planning, and sales analytics.
‘Our complete suite of integrated applications gives management an instant snapshot of key performance indicators across the entire operation as well as the ability to drill-down to the fine detail when required,’ said IT director Richard Glanville.
‘This provides the agility we need to remain competitive as we can identify trends and respond in a cost-effective manner, increasing sales and improving our bottom line.’
He says the implementation of BT Expedite’s Connected Retailer Store 6.0 was done with minimal interruption to the business.
The latest roll out will begin in August.
