LogicaCMG posts strong half year sales
But IT services firm is struggling in the UK
LogicaCMG has posted strong half year sales
IT services firm LogicaCMG increased first half sales by 36 per cent to £1.5bn but it continues to struggle in the UK, where revenues are down by eight per cent.
The performance is in line with analyst expectations, with pre-tax profits also rising slightly from £26m to £29m, said chief operating officer Jim McKenna.
But the Anglo-Dutch company is still under pressure to find a new chief executive after Martin Read resigned earlier this year following profit warnings. McKenna will become the interim chief executive from next month.
LogicaCMG also appointed deputy chairman David Tyler to the chairman’s role just one month after joining the firm.
