Adidas leads race for new talent
Footwear company installs e-recruitment software
Sportswear company Adidas Group wants to attract top new talent following the implementation of global e-recruitment software.
It will begin rolling out ActiveRecruiter from software company Jobpartners next year to attract the best candidates and create a global talent pool of staff.
The company, whose brands include Reebok, TaylorMade and Rockport, will replace its former applicant management tool based on SAP.
Head of recruiting Steve Bonomo says the Adidas Group is growing rapidly and an effective global talent management strategy is critical.
‘We are implementing ActiveRecruiter to greatly speed up and increase the efficiency and effectiveness of our recruitment process,’ he said. ‘This will in turn help enhance our employer brand and ensure we attract, hire and retain talented people.
The software will be used by recruiters and line managers to ensure that all reporting is consistent across the globe.
Bonomo says the software is likely provide benefits through cost savings by reducing the number of recruitment agencies used and a reduction in the time to hire new staff.
It will also enable compliance with local employment legislations, such as removing the date-of-birth from applications to meet age discrimination laws and a search auditing functionality which proves that recruiters did not discriminate.
