Jola Gillespie moves from SABMiller
The CIO role at Findus only recently became available
One of Europe's largest food suppliers, Findus, has appointed a new chief information officer (CIO), Jola Gillespie.
Gillespie has been driving major transformational projects in international companies for 20 years and joins Findus Group from drinks giant SABMiller, where she was CIO for Europe.
Prior to working for SABMiller, Gillespie worked as IT director at two PepsiCo businesses – Frito-Lay and Walkers.
The Findus CIO role has just been created and Gillespie will report to chief executive officer Chris Britton.
Jola will lead the existing internal team and will be responsible for all elements of the company’s information technology and systems.
“Jola is a senior, experienced professional with a strong track record in fast-moving, international environments,'” said Britton.
