Compact thin client saves on power and money
Netvoyager launches a thin-client costing less than £100 and which uses less than 10W of energy
Netvoyager has introduced an entry-level thin client costing less than £100 and which uses less than 10W of energy.
The Neterm LX1000 is a compact device, measuring just 115x115x35mm, that runs Netvoyager's proprietary PhoenixOS. The unit is designed to connect to server-hosted sessions via Microsoft RDP, Citrix ICA, VNC, or X11 protocols, and has support for Telnet and SSH sessions.
It supports display resolutions up to 1280 x 1024, and has three USB ports that can be used to attach local storage.
"The Neterm LX1000 delivers all the benefits of thin client technology and yet breaks the £100 barrier and consumes only 10W, making it the most energy efficient desktop on the market today for the performance and features it provides," said Netvoyager Managing Director Jamil Aboulzelof.
The Neterm LX1000 is ideal for task-orientated applications and can be used in all environments including office, healthcare and industrial due to its ergonomic design and tough exterior, according to the company.
