Java ERP software hits the streets

The first enterprise resource planning (ERP) software written in Java will hit the shelves next month. Intentia International's Movex ERP package, which runs on the IBM AS/400, has been ported to Java. Movex ERP has only been available on the AS/400's primary programming language, Report Program Generator. With its 20 million lines of code, Movex is one of the biggest Java applications to date.
