Capgemini wins Ofcom contract
Regulator awards contract for IT consolidation
Ofcom has announced that supplier Capgemini has been selected as the preferred bidder for a five-year, £25m managed services deal.
The consultancy will take over the running of the communications regulator’s IT from 1 February 2006, overhauling its legacy systems alongside a business change programme.
Some 50 applications will be consolidated, using integrated systems including customer relationship management from vendor Siebel and human resource, financial and procurement technology from SAP.
