HSBC banks on streamlined communications
New system aims to improve access to corporate transaction data
HSBC's corporate clients may benefit from improved communications
HSBC has rolled out an integrated platform to streamline and automate communication with its corporate customers.
The SAP system aims to tackle the security and operational risks associated with the complexity of bulk payments by simplifying data workflow between the bank and its business clients.
Corporate customers seeking information related to services such as account payables, account receivables and reconciliations will be able to use the new platform to link into HSBC's banking network via a single entry point.
The system has also enabled the creation of a link between the client's office ERP system and the bank's back office via a standard interface.
"By combining HSBC's banking services with ERP automation in new, highly integrated ways, customers can look forward to a faster, richer and seamless banking experience with us worldwide," said Marcus Treacher, head of electronic banking and e-commerce at HSBC.
