Ladbrokes decides not to gamble with performance
Bookmaker to install performance management software to improve control
Ladbrokes races ahead with performance management
Betting and gaming company Ladbrokes is to use performance management software to manage it financial reporting, planning and forecasting.
Ladbrokes wanted a more controlled and effective system for weekly, monthly, and statutory reporting after the sale of Hilton Hotels last year.
The technology will deliver functionality, strong audit trails and full compliance with reporting standards, says group financial controller Cliff Baty.
‘The increasing demands for accurate, detailed and prompt information meant that we needed to find an adaptable and unified reporting solution,’ he said.
‘We wanted to encourage local access and accountability as well as providing group management with the information required to monitor the effectiveness of the whole organisation.’
The current system requires the manual transfer of data from numerous spreadsheets into a separate database at its head office. The spreadsheets have become increasingly difficult to integrate, control and administer.
Ladbrokes chose OutlookSoft 5 performance management software to automate and streamline the process and provide a single view of data to staff. The new software also has an easy-to-use and familiar interface.
OutlookSoft 5 will also provide Ladbrokes with predictive analytics to ensure decisions can be made using predictable performance.
