The Women in Technology Excellence Awards 2026 are officially open for nominations!
These prestigious awards which represent one of the most anticipated events in the Computing calendar, celebrate the exceptional women who are transforming, strengthening, and securing the technology industry.
From creative innovators and dynamic leaders to rising stars and dedicated mentors, this is an opportunity to recognise the talent driving real change across the sector.
The awards honour achievements across every corner of technology, including software engineering, AI, cybersecurity, data, digital transformation and more. Beyond individual success, the programme recognises the diversity, creativity and resilience that define women’s journeys in tech.
With categories spanning every stage of a tech career ranging from Graduate/Apprentice of the Year and Rising Star to Team Leader of the Year, Transformation Leader of the Year, and Woman of the Year, these awards showcase excellence at every level.
New categories celebrating allyship
Computing also recognises the companies and initiatives which are building the environment for women to excel. Best Employer of the Year (SMS and Enterprise), DEI Initiative and a new Health and Wellbeing Award recognises the tech employers making sure that women's voices are heard.
We have also added a category for 2026 that is open to any gender. Advocate/Educator of the Year celebrates allyship by recognising an individual who has driven meaningful change for women in technology through education, training, or policy influence. If your work or the work of a colleague has created opportunities for women and girls in technology, then we want to hear all about it.
Equally, if you know a woman who consistently pushes boundaries, leads with vision, or champions the next generation of tech talent, tell us about her.

Winners will be revealed at an exclusive awards ceremony on Thursday 26 November 2026 at the Hilton Park Lane, London a glittering evening dedicated to recognising and celebrating inspirational women in tech.
