Women in Tech Excellence Awards – Top tips to make your entry shine!
Final submissions close on 11th July so don’t delay
Nominees in all categories in the Women in Tech Excellence Awards will be submitting their entries over the next 10 days. Here are some tips to make yours stand out.
The Women in Tech Excellence Awards 2025 winners will be announced at an exclusive awards ceremony on Thursday 27th November at the Hilton Park Lane, London, and it will be a glittering celebration of the women shaping technology.
Submissions have been steadily incoming since we announced the nominees (check out the list here) but the deadline of 11th July is fast approaching, so this is your final call to submit your entry.
Here are some top tips to make your submission a winner:
- Brevity is your friend. Stick to word counts and be ruthless in tailoring your entry specifically to your award category.
- Use facts and figures. Back up any claims about the success of your project or individual achievements with concrete data. Judges value evidence that illustrates your story.
- Avoid jargon and marketing fluff. Use clear, engaging language that highlights your brilliance. Well-designed PDF entries with images and quotes are encouraged to help your submission stand out although well written text entries are always welcome.
- Video submissions are highly encouraged but keep them fresh, fun, and concise—no longer than three minutes and relevant to your individual category.
- Include testimonials. Real, relevant testimonials from customers, partners, or colleagues can significantly strengthen your entry.
- Don’t hold back on details if they show your dedication or something unique to your success. Whether it’s late nights, innovative methodologies, or overcoming challenges, share it.
- Don’t be shy. Confidently highlight why you, your team, or your project deserve to win.
This is your opportunity to shine and show the judges why you stand out among the UK’s brightest women in technology.
Don’t miss the 11th July deadline to submit your entry and stake your claim for a place on stage on 27th November!
