It all began at Evolution London in Battersea Park, where guests enjoyed a champagne reception and the chance to get in some of the best networking of the year.

There was also entertainment from the fantastic Lion King performers.

The curtain opened, allowing guests to take in the atmosphere and decorations before taking their seats for the main event.

The entertainment reached another level as the Lion King troupe took to the stage, before Computing editor Tom Allen and BCS CEO Sharon Gunn welcomed the packed hall, reflecting on the challenges and opportunities the industry has faced this year.

Our charity partner for 2025 was Movember, the leading men’s health charity. Ambassadors Adan Freeman and Esther Roberts came on stage to explain more about the organisation’s work.

All the money raised on the night, either through direct donations, the silent auction or raffle - both returning favourites - went directly to Movember.

After dinner, the brilliant Hugh Dennis got everyone laughing with a routine ranging from observations about everything from train delays to job titles.

And then it was time to cheer as the awards really kicked off. Watch out for a separate photo gallery of winners coming soon!

And finally, with the winners crowned and everyone fed and watered, the guests buckled down to the serious business of celebrating their victories with games, Dodgems and dancing – proving once again that the UK IT Industry Awards are where the IT sector really comes to life.
