Hollywood special effects studio Pacific Ocean Post, which has worked on films including Star Trek: First Contact, Armageddon and Independence Day, last week told Network News that it has integrated a Legato NetWorker San system into its network. The company has about seven motion picture projects running at any one time, and requires an average of 30 terabytes of storage across its 18 mainframe class Silicon Graphics Unix servers.
