Wolfpack clusters will dominate the market for high-end enterprisesystems over the next five years and squash the presence of Unix-basedsystems into specialist niche markets. A survey of 90 European ITconsultants and analysts revealed that 85% of them believe clustered NTservers would triumph, and 64% of them feel Unix would eventually be usedfor specialist applications, writes Robert Juman Blincoe.
