A vendor group which aims to promote wireless Lans unveiled the first range of products to receive interoperability certification last week. The Wireless Ethernet Compatibility Alliance (WECA), created in 1999 by Nokia, Lucent, 3Com and Symbol, has approved 15 Lan products from seven companies including 3Com, Cabletron's Enterasys business, Cisco, Compaq and Lucent.
