Network storage provider Network Appliance last week announced a partnership with the Benetton Formula One team. The team's latest car, the B200, has been designed and developed using Network Appliance's e-business storage technology. The architecture is based around two of the vendor's F740 e-business competent filers with one terabyte of storage each to hold the car designer's engineering data. The two e-business file servers allow data to be stored and served between mission-critical applications across all platforms at the main Benetton site in Enstone, Oxfordshire.
