Despite the results of Brexit, General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is still coming and of paramount importance to UK organisations. By 2018, non-compliance with this new set of data protection laws will result in a fine of either 4 per cent of an organisation's turnover, or 20 million euros, whichever is higher.

In the first of this five part Q&A series, Computing's Peter Gothard speaks with Data Protection lawyer Phil Lee of Fieldfisher and Jes Breslaw of Data Virtualisation company Delphix, to find just how big the GDPR challenge is, and why companies should start making preparations now.
