AOL and Last.fm have struck a deal under which Last.fm will power the relaunch of AOL Europe's online radio platform.
The service will initially be available in France, Germany and the UK, with plans to roll out across Europe in the coming months.
The Last.fm powered site at Radio.aol.co.uk will allow AOL users to search for artists and listen to a continuous stream of music.
Last.fm will enable AOL Radio users in Germany and the UK to repeatedly listen to any track they hear via Last.fm's free-on-demand service.
The service also offers access to millions of tracks for full-length streaming. AOL Radio users also have the option of launching their own stations based on a range of music genres.
Alongside the streamed music stations, AOL Radio listeners will have access to extra content including videos, pictures and event listings, and will be able discover new music through the recommendations of other users.
