Oracle has released several patches for its own software and for PeopleSoft's code.
The update covers Oracle's Database Server, Application Server and Collaboration Suite. Also included are versions of the Oracle E-Business Suite and Applications product, Oracle Enterprise Manager Grid Control and two PeopleSoft applications.
The patches, which are part of a more regular patching cycle for Oracle, are not all security related. Oracle declined to give further details.
"As a matter of policy, Oracle will not provide additional information about the specifics of vulnerabilities beyond what is provided in the CPU or Security Alert notification, the pre-installation notes, the readme files and FAQs," said the company in a statement.
"Oracle provides all customers with the same information in order to protect all customers equally."
This is the first time Oracle has released patches for PeopleSoft applications. It has also decided to release all patches on a quarterly schedule in January, April, July and October.
