Wireless networks across London are not secure and often have gaping holes, according to a seven-month investigation by the International Chamber of Commerce and UK security specialist DigiLog.
Some 94 per cent of wireless networks in the capital were found to be inadequately protected, exposing masses of sensitive corporate information.
The root cause is being attributed to a lack of understanding on the part of IT managers when it comes to installing such devices.
