After two-and-a-half years as 'interim' chief executive, Steve Jobs has accepted the position of full-time chief at Apple. At Macworld in San Francisco last week, he unveiled an Apple.com web site, offering services that include online data storage. He also announced a $200 million (£124m) investment in Earthlink, which will be promoted as the default Internet service provider for Macintosh users.
