The Bank of England has issued a contract notice for hosting its intranet and extranet facilities.
The contract is worth between £900,000 and £1.1m and will last for five years, with an option to extend the contract for a further two years in one year increments.
The bank is looking to procure the design, build and implementation of a highly secure extranet as well as a managed service to host both the extranet and the existing intranet web sites.
The service will be provided from a secure location, and will offer a best-of-class security standard.
A minimum number of five operators will be invited to tender, with a maximum number of 10.
Those interested in offering services should apply to the Bank of England no later than 8 January.
