Four IT managers presented their business technology challenges to our pIT stop panel and received expert advice on solving their problems. Each participant was set a task to complete and asked to record their achievements in a video blog – with the best winning an all-expenses-paid trip to the F1 race in Valencia. The winner of the pIT stop challenge was Alex Reeves of Armstrong Consultants, who won the all-expenses paid trip for two to Valencia to watch the Formula One grand prix race. The pIT stop panel felt that Alex had enthusiastically responded to the task he was set, and by involving his work colleagues had demonstrated how the experts' advice can bring significant benefits to the organisation. He has made green computing a part of his business and is a great example of how energy efficiency can cut costs and meet environmental goals.
