The appliance converts emails into files that can then be automatically archived in a firm’s network storage environment, and offers tools to retrieve messages.
Spence said the device would help firms to comply with regulations that require messages to be stored securely. He added that it offers greater capacity than NorthSeas’ existing Guard E/N appliance.
Separately, Intradyn has added expanded email search and retrieval capabilities to its ComplianceVault appliance. The product also includes improved auditing features, new archive scheduling functionality and the ability to export email search results to a variety of formats.
