There has been a rise in litigation, with most large organisations involved in hundreds of cases at one time. This means that better discovery tools are demanded by both plaintiffs and defence counsel.
Locating paper content is difficult and expensive. Records management software can ensure that records are destroyed on time but not before their time as well as suspend destruction in the event the content is required in a legal or regulatory discovery order.
