Firefox 4 about screen

Verdict:

Firefox 4 builds on solid browser technology, adds WebGL support and better JavaScript performance than the last Firefox release – 3.6.15. But its release has been overly delayed. The release of Chrome 10 – the first stable release of a browser with WebGL support – and IE9 earlier this month have stolen its thunder.

Overall Rating:

five star

Price: £ Free download

Manufacturer: Mozilla

Pros:

Graphics accelerated hardware; WebGL support; better JavaScript performance; Linux and Mac OS X supported; tab grouping Panorama feature.

Cons:

Tracking protection relies on websites holding off on tracking users who have specified a preference for them not to.
